Ho!Ho!Ho! Christmas is around the corner and it’s our favorite time of the year. The chill in the air, the festive vibe, the celebratory mood are all that we need as we bid farewell to an eventful 2022.
The year has kept us busier than usual, which means we’ve been around here lesser than we would have liked to. It has been some ride nevertheless, with more breathtaking journeys, unique experiences and an ongoing personal project.
The highlights of the year included –
Dining at the iconic Taj Mahal hotel in Hyderabad
The place takes you decades back with it’s architecture, food and staff. The thali is a must try. The place has a lot of well-preserved history associated with it.
Coffee, cakes and history in the British town of Landour
Landour caught us unaware, in a good way. The chilly weather, the deodars, the winding roads make it a place out of a storybook. You can feel the warmth and aromas of the Landour Bakehouse from a distance. The Cafe Landour has a nice buzz and the pancakes and omelettes of char-dukan are scrumptious. Definitely the best moments of the year.
Indulging ourselves at the luxurious Taj Falaknuma Palace
This was on our bucket lists for a while. The palace tour, the food, the gardens and the rooms are an indulgence in luxury. The palace also offers an amazing panoramic view of Hyderabad.
Welcoming 2023
As another eventful years come to an end, wishing all of you happy holidays and a wonderful 2023. We have lots to look forward too, and we hope the same for all of you.
